Chiropractic
Chiropractors are allied health professionals focused on the assessment, diagnosis, and care of the neuro-musculoskeletal system - the complex relationship between the nerves, muscles and joints that influences how your body moves and functions.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is an adjustment?

Chiropractic spinal adjustments involve the manual manipulation of the joints, particularly in the spine - to help reduce pain, optimise mobility, and enhance overall joint function.

Do adjustments always involve a “crack”?

No, not always. While some adjustments may create a popping sound, it’s not necessary for effective care. We use a variety of gentle techniques - like mobilisations, activator, drop piece, pelvic blocks, and soft tissue work. Every body is different and your care plan is always designed to suit your goals, preferences and stage of life.

Is chiropractic safe for children?

Yes. Chiropractic care for children is tailored to their age and stage of development, with a focus on supporting healthy movement and nervous system function.

The Safer Care Victoria review into chiropractic care for children found no evidence of serious harm. Of over 21,000 public submissions, 99.7% reported a positive experience, and 98% noted improvement in their child’s symptoms.
